Triterpenoid saponins, called sapoariozides, were isolated from Saponaria officinalis. Saponins are natural soapy substances found in plants. Flavonoids include essential amino acids, resin, woody fiber and gum substance.
When saponin, which is also known as saponin, also known as soapwort, is combined with water, it foams and produces a natural foamy skin wash. They are not irritating and desiccant and can be used even on sensitive skin. At least 12 different types of saponin can be isolated from the root of the soap plant, including vaccaroside, dianchinenoside and saponarioside C.
Saponins are bitter chemical compounds found in various plant species (such as plants, seeds, grains and vegetables), and scientific research has shown that they can have benefits such as killing harmful bacteria and parasites, fighting oxidative stress, and preventing tumor growth. There are more saponins in the roots of the plant than in other plants, and that is why it is so good foaming.
